National Play Day, Wed 4 August 2010, 11am-4pm, Hillsborough Park

Play Day is a fantastic National celebration of a child’s right to play. It is a fun event that’s suitable for all the family with many activities on offer during the day including, Den Building, Ice Skating, Mega Slide, Climbing Tower, Water Slide, and much much more – all of which is free of charge!

The 2010 campaign theme, Our Place! Is about promoting children as valued members of our communities. The campaign recognises the benefits of being part of a community and will encourage opportunities to get to know each other, across the generations. The campaign puts children’s needs at the heart of our community spaces and aims to support children to develop their own independence and freedom to play outdoors where they live.
